disney details

so while fabrice is in virgina making money..i'm here spending money :) we finally got antoine's disney pass today. after containing them in a small space for 2 weeks with little time outside they were ready. first we went to the mount dora flea market with nanette and had a quick lunch then we headed toward magic kingdom. parking at the polynesian is part of the plan so we always start there and take the monorail. i bought antoine's ticket and we passed our flimsy paper tickets through the automatic ticket machine at the entrance. november 7th and the christmas decor is already starting to go up! monday is the first very merry christmas party! yikes. pascal wanted to go on the train first and get off at the splash mountain stop. we walked through the shop and looked at all of the little rabbit beds along the ceiling.. from the splash mountain theme... then the 3 o'clock parade started so we watched it from the bottom of the log ride so they could watch everyone get soaked at the same time. the parade was good. lots of prince and princess floats. maya loved it. she was waving at everyone. then we walked through the thick crowd to it's a small world. the park was totally packed..maybe for the holiday weekend? quick stop for ice cream which they all shared bite for bite with each other...then small world. i started to get tired so we headed back to the polynesian for a snack. we ate by the pool and the weather was perfect. next as always we go to the coloring table to watch a movie (briefly) by the entrance. maya said hello to all the girls at the table and antoine was randomly showing his coloring pages to dad's in the area. "hey, man, look at my colors!" oh, while i think of it, all those that haven't heard antoine's latest phrase.."maman, a bug flew in my eye and it pooped in me." lol. anyway someone blew the conch shell and it was time for the torch lighting ceremony! i don't remember this! there are some drums sitting out front by the valet that they use for this..i just thought they were decor...so they bring a guy out with a fire baton and he lights all the torches then does a little fire show!. so cool! it was starting to get dark and it was only 6:00 so i thought...should we go to another park? i don't want to walk like crazy again..sooo we went to the boardwalk! saturday nights they have magic shows and jugglers on the boardwalk! they kids loved it! they sat up front with all the other kids and laughed at all the tricks. pascal wanted to be part of the show raising his hand and always saying, "well, what about me?" to the magician...so he came over and pulled some coins out from his ears and nose..then he said, "well, what about my brother?..so i grinned and gave a heavy blink as to say,"sorrry, but thank you".antoine got a small bunny pulled out of his ear. he was amazed. we kept walking and got some popcorn..traditional of the boardwalk theme. i saw everyone dressed up going to the swing club and the piano bar...ah..back in the day. so we had a great time. i suppose all went well in VA. i haven't spoken to fabrice yet. they just finished. the boys had no nap today and were asleep in the car on the way home..maya is up though! so we are going to bed shortly
